Our Philosophy

Our goal is to help you live and eat in ways that truly nourish your body in all ways. Together, we will move beyond diets and learn how to cultivate habits and practices that will help you make peace with both your body and food while also optimizing gut, hormone, and metabolic health.

We are proud to consider ourselves non-diet dietitians. You read that right.  In fact, we believe that diet culture is at the root of many of our health issues. We have seen that, even with the best of intentions, restriction, rules, control, body shaming, and comparison cause more harm in our lives than good.  Instead, we believe that the right path is different for each of you -  and is based on your health, your history, your circumstances and your personality. We will help you learn how to eat intentionally and compassionately to support your health, rather than based on restriction or shame or even induldgence. Together, we will explore health as it pertains to your mind, community, movement, body, sleep, hormones, environment, and food in order to create an evidence-based, sustainable, and life-giving plan for you.
